(More customer reviews)I got this case to improve reception and because I wanted to keep my phone slimmer to fit in my suit pocket. As to the protection factor, I've dropped my phone once and it didn't break the case, so that's a plus.
However, the primary purpose of the case (for me at least) was to improve the reception. I have noticed no difference in the amount of dropped called and/or an increase is signal. None.
Thus, I give this case 3 stars. It's small and unobtrusive, but does not do what it says it does.
