I had one of these for a Blackberry Curve installed for 2 years so I was happy to find the same item when I switched to an Iphone (and away from Verizon after 20+ years). I didn't use the provided antenna as I have an amplifier and and thru-glass installed in my van from about 2 or 3 phone installations ago (when there were still "car kits" for phones. I am sure this will really help fill in the holes in AT&T's coverage as it did with Verizon when I was in remote areas. I don't expect miracles and that it will now be as good as Verizon - but it will no doubt help. I only wish they had included an audio output to go to an Aux in or FM modulator. At least they left the earphone jack accessible (though the fit could be tight with some plugs). Because of the type of connection the Iphone uses, it is a little more difficult to get the Iphone out (and in) of the holder then the BB, but not a big deal. My situation is compounded by the fact that I have a holder for a "normal" cellphone (my business number) just to the left of this one and there is a little less clearance then there was with the BB, so it is difficult to remove without activating the volume rocker on the left side of the Iphone. If Apple wold add a opti9on so that the Iphone doesn't "lock" or go dark when hooked to external power like the BB had, everything would be perfect. Note that by design it WILL likely require holes to be drilled in your dash or other mounting surface. In my case, there are a lot of holes from previous installations anyway, so it really doesn't matter anymore.
